Xiaomi unveiled 100-watt wireless charging stand. Smartphone maker Giant Xiaomi has introduced a 100-watt wireless charging stand in the Chinese market. In March, Xiaomi unveiled a 60-watt wireless charging stand in the market, according to Gizmochina. The newly brought stand is an upgraded version of it. The only difference between the MI 100 watt wireless charging stand and the old 60-watt stand is the charging speed, color, and safety level.
The two chargers are identical in terms of design. It will be possible to charge the phone either vertically or horizontally. The new model has a combination of black and gold colors. The previous version was white and silver. Both the stands use MI 120 watt charger and 8A USB cable. According to the report, no other Xiaomi product is capable of providing wireless charging at this rate.
Like the old model, the new charging stand has a dual coil design and a passionate fan. The fan goes silent as needed. As the charger is QI standard, it can charge any device with a wireless charging facility.
However, only MI11 Pro, MI11 Ultra, and MI Mix 4 can use ultra-fast wireless charging mode. In a word, the phones can fast-charge at 8 watts and 50 watts according to their set capacity. Xiaomi has not officially announced when it will introduce the charger in the world market.
