Hackers attack the Wall Street Journal server. Reports have surfaced that a lot of important information has been stolen from journalists by hacking into the servers of several organizations, including the Wall Street Journal. It is feared that China is behind the attack.

Media baron Rupert Murdoch’s publishing house, News Corp, reported that hackers had attacked the systems of the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, and Dow Jones. As a result, a lot of important information about journalists has been stolen.

According to the publisher, the first hackers attacked in February 2020. In this attack, various types of information have been leaked from the systems of many journalists and their organizations. The hackers also collected information from journalists’ e-mails and from Google Docs. Information has even been leaked from email drafts.

In a statement, News Corp said, “The hacker attack appears to be the work of a foreign government, according to preliminary internal analysis.”

In 2013, hackers attacked the systems of the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.

Weiber’s accusation was against China. However, Beijing has dismissed all allegations. A spokesman for the Chinese embassy in Washington said the hacker attack was a matter of grave concern. But China is not involved. The notion that China is behind the incident is irrelevant. On the contrary, China has always opposed all these cybercrimes.

The U.S. administration claims that two hackers, with the help of part of the Chinese Ministry of Defense, carried out the raid. The names of those hackers have also been revealed. The United States has said that two electrical engineers, Li Xiao and Dong Jiajie, carried out a cyberattack from China.
