Google is Bringing Chrome OS to Macs and PCs

Google is Bringing Chrome OS to Macs and PCs. Google has announced early access to the new Chrome OS Flex version of the Chrome OS operating system. The operating system will also run on older versions of PCs and Mac computers.

According to technology site The Verge, the new version of the Chrome operating system is being built with schools and businesses in mind. Google’s blog post says that the operating system can be installed “in a few minutes.”

Google has told The Verge that the Chrome OS Flex will look and feel the same as the Chromebook-powered Chromebook. However, the use of some of its features may depend on the hardware of the PC, the company said. Google has given the same answer to the question of all the features of the conventional “Chromebook” or “Chrome OS”.

Google has previously shown the functionality of Chrome OS on different manufacturers’ devices. Google has also recently bought an organization called “Neverware“. The company used to sell an app called “CloudReady“, through which old PCs could be converted into computers running the Chrome operating system.

After that incident, the presence of Chrome OS can be noticed in some other devices, and various speculations have started about it.

After purchasing Neverware, Google said, “We’re working hard to integrate the benefits of CloudReady into the new version of Chrome OS.” According to technology site Verge, the new version of Chrome will run on older PCs and Mac computers; the announcement is the first step in that plan.

You can learn more about Chrome OS Flex from the Chrome Enterprise website. However, the operating system is still in its infancy, so the user may have to deal with various bug complications.
