Facebook New Name is Meta: For the past few days, rumours have been circulating about the name change of Facebook. This time, the most popular social media name has been changed to ‘Meta.’

On Thursday (October 26), Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself announced the new name. All business activities under the name ‘Meta’ will be conducted by the social media giant Facebook Inc.

In addition to Facebook, Facebook Inc. has several other social media apps like Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus. Due to the branding of the new name, the company’s apps will come under a parent company. However, there will be no change in the corporate structure, in this case, said Mark Zuckerberg at the Augmented Reality (AR) conference.

He announced to bring various new apps and technology products to the market under ‘Meta.’

According to various international media, the name of the original organization has been changed. Still, the name of the Facebook app is not being changed. Facebook will be the name of an app under the new name that the company is launching.
