What will be in the community feature of WhatsApp. It has been rumored for some time now that WhatsApp is bringing a new ‘Communities’ feature. The latest beta update of the app says that admins can control more than one group at a time.
Technology site WABetaInfo went in search of the details of the new feature. The site has taken a screenshot of the feature from the beta version of the iOS version of WhatsApp. And after seeing the screenshot, the site talks about two different capabilities.
Technology site 9 to 5 Mac reports that admins will have more control over the groups on the platform. The site has revealed more details about the feature. And like ten group chats, the admin can write the name and details of the “community.” Then a maximum of 10 groups can be added to that community.
Apart from this, an option called “Announcement Group” has also come to the notice of the site. The idea is that WhatsApp will automatically create a group chat so that when a message is posted, it will probably be automatically forwarded to other groups.
As the “communities” feature is still in the testing phase, users of the beta version will not be able to use the feature, said 9 to 5 Mac.
