FlickPlay and Sandbox are Merging to Go to Metaverse. Game creators Flickplay and The Sandbox have announced that they will work together to advance themselves in Metaverse. Gamers will be able to use the blockchain-based assets of the two companies.

The announcement that the two gaming companies will work together came on Monday.

According to a Reuters report, the free movement of people in the virtual world of various digital platforms and the metaverse of the two organizations take into account their virtual clothing and accessories. Technology enthusiasts call it ‘interoperability’.

This is called ‘interoperability’ when multiple computer systems or networks can share or use the same information. However, the idea is still a long way off, and its implementation will require the cooperation of Metaverse builders, including top organizations such as Meta, Microsoft, and Epic Games, Reuters reported.

Flickplay is an app where players can use an ‘interactive map’ to unlock digital ‘collections’ from around them. The phone camera can then be used to create real-world videos and other content.

The announcement of the app’s first non-fungible token (NFT) also came on Monday. Named Flicky, the token features an ethnographic chameleon and various costume designs.

Flicky-earning gamers will be able to use the NFT as an avatar in the Sandbox, Reuters reports.

Sandbox is a web and mobile game platform where gamers can create a three-dimensional virtual world. Initially, Flickr owners will unlock a version of Camelion for Sandbox.

Soon they will be able to use this digital resource in the same version, which will be supported by the blockchain of both games .– Flickplay chief Pierina Merino told Reuters. “This assimilation is important. Because, this is the first bridge connecting the virtual world with the NFT, and with it the use of the real world, “said Sebastian Borge, co-founder of Sandbox.

The deal with Flickplay will help create a deeper experience and will extend to Metaverse and Sandbox, Borg told Reuters.
