Apple employees are not returning to the office before 2022! Apple has planned to start office operations with 50 percent capacity from October, but Apple has canceled that plan for now. The U.S.-based technology giant has delayed returning to office in recent weeks, citing the rise in corona infections and the horrors of the Delta variant. For now, January 2022 has been set as the next date.
Apple said employees would be notified at least a month before the office opened in a memo sent to employees. Like most large companies, Apple is following a hybrid work routine.
Earlier in September, Apple authorities faced obstacles in announcing the start of office activities. Employees bend over to apply the pressure to return to the office, and they also demand a complete remote office (work from outside the office or work from home).
They are opening or closing retail Apple stores based on the rate of corona infection. The Apple Store in Charleston, South Carolina, was completed this week. Apple’s decision came as more than 20 employees of the retail outlet were at risk of Covid-19.
