YouTube has brought new features to make it easier to correct mistakes: Suppose there is any wrong information in the video uploaded to YouTube. In that case, YouTube is introducing a new ‘Corrections’ feature to make correcting that mistake easier for the producers.
Mistakes made on YouTube videos are nothing new for producers. However, the risk of correcting that mistake is not less. Sometimes, content creators have to create and upload new videos on the same subject. The biggest downside is that the video’s other ‘engagement metrics‘, including comments, fall back to zero.
YouTube’s content creators can avoid this risk with the ‘Corrections’ feature.
Producers can add corrections to the uploaded video as ‘Infocard’. The ‘Corrections’ will be moved to the top right corner of the screen as an Infocard according to the timestep specified by the manufacturer.
Visitors can view the manufacturer’s correction note by clicking on that Infocard.
