Canon Bringing 3 Versions of Mirrorless Camera. The Canon EOS R5C Mirrorless Camera is the camera of choice for professional photographers. But because it was expensive, it was difficult for the general public. Canon is going to bring three cameras of EOS and mirrorless model keeping in mind the huge demand of the market. Citing a reliable source, Canon Rumors said they plan to launch the cameras in the second half of this year.
Canon currently has full-frame sensors in all EOS and cameras. However, one of the three cameras may be using the APS-C sensor for the first time. Canon Rumors says the Canon EOS R7 is going to be a real hybrid camera. That affordable model could be a hybrid of Canon EOS M50 Mark 2 and Canon EOS 6D Mark 2 DSLR.
The second entry-level camera, the Canon EOS R6, will use a 20-megapixel sensor, the source said. The features of the third camera are a bit mysterious. It is thought to be a combination of Canon EOS RP and Canon EOS R6. Maybe there won’t be a 45 megapixel camera sensor like the Canon EOS R5.
The Canon Rumors site suggests that Canon may have chosen its own strategy, even though all camera makers are frustrated by the lack of chips. That’s why Canon is going to bring three new models of affordable cameras this year. Three cameras may hit the market in the second half of this year.
