According to Bloomberg, citing “relevant sources,” Apple recently planned a new event in March, according to Bloomberg. On the other hand, Mark Gurman, a reporter for a commercial publication, says that Apple will unveil the new ‘affordable’ MacBook Pro at the same event.

In the technology industry, Gurman is widely regarded as a reliable source of rumors and insider information about Apple products and services.

9to5 technology site Mac quoted Gurman as saying that the difference between the new device and the M1 Pro RM1 Max MacBook is not just in price. Most likely, the device will have a bit of “weak” hardware compared to other models.

My expectation is that the entry-level MacBook Pro will differ from the luxury MacBook Pro in terms of poor display, processor, and storage. No-touch bar, promotion, or mini LED will be available. This will be one of the many Macs carrying the M2 chip. Gurman said, “These include the 24-inch iMac, the entry-level Mac Mini, and the newly designed MacBook Air.”
